Two years ago, in 2012, the Houston Dance Factory was named by the Houston Press as Houston’s best dance studio. The prices for kids’ classes start at $50 and go up from there, but you can choose from several types of dance for both boys and girls. Included in the dance menu at the Houston Dance Factory are classes in ballet, salsa and hip-hop. Toddlers can also take their own hip-hop or ballet classes. Children’s dance classes last 45 minutes and are offered at various times throughout the week. For first-time participants, the studio requires a $25 registration fee.
