DESCRIPTION
Teaching and Performing in the lineage of kathak master Pandit Chitresh Das. In tune and attuned; at Sureela, we practice attuning the mind, body, and spirit through sangeet: movement, rhythm, and melody. Sureela students and ensemble members learn about South Asian philosophy, history, religion, literature and mathematics through the performing arts, focusing on North Indian classical kathak dance.
